Cardiovascular Research Studies Seeking Participants

PET/MRI of Mitral Valve Prolapse
Researchers at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai are conducting an NIH-funded study to determine how advanced PET/MRI imaging and comprehensive rhythm monitoring can better determine the risk of dangerous ventricular arrhythmias in people with Mitral Valve Prolapse (MVP).
The study is recruiting patients with MVP, mitral valve regurgitation (MR), and either severe MR or some degree of arrhythmia (ventricular ectopy).

PET/MRI of Mental Stress and CVD

Researchers at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai are conducting an NIH-funded study to determine the links between mental stress, activation of the immune system, and cardiovascular disease (CVD). Participants are being recruited who are 45-65 years old, have a moderate-to-high risk of CVD, and ASCVD score of at least 7.5% (https://tools.acc.org/ascvd-risk-estimator-plus).For more information about the study and details about whether you are eligible, please visit the following site or contact the study team listed below:
